Taking on miles to raise money

Posted on

On Sunday 7 April, three individuals made their way to a start line in Brighton.
Their aim: to run a 26.2 mile race. Their reason: to raise money for SUPPORT OUR PARAS.

Lee & Alex before setting off

The Brighton Marathon is the UK’s third largest marathon and first took place in 2010. More than 11,000 people completed the course this year, making it their most successful since the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ellis and ‘Pegasus’

Ellis, Lee and Alex each took on the event to raise money for SUPPORT OUR PARAS, with Ellis taking along ‘Pegasus’ for company.

It proved to be a tough course with sunburn, a strong headwind and several out and back stretches. However, our three entrants all crossed the finish line with a smile on their face.

A huge congratulations and thank you from everyone at SUPPORT OUR PARAS and those we support for taking on the challenge.
