Lieutenant Colonel Liam Cradden MBE has been The Parachute Regiment’s Lieutenant Colonel and EXOFICIO Trustee of the Parachute Regiment Charity (PRC) and now Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces Charity (PRAFC) since 2018. Liam’s professional responsibilities are focused on all aspects of The Parachute Regiment’s workforce from recruiting, training, selection (P Company), posting and promotions, and performance on career courses.
Liam joined the Regiment in 1988 and has served in all four of the Parachute Battalions and Pathfinders. He has served on numerous operations from Northern Ireland to Afghanistan. He is married to Kate a former Royal Engineer officer and has two children who are now in 6th Form College and University. His hobbies are long distance trekking, running, skiing and mountain biking.
