Col (Retd) Andrew B Jackson


Andrew Jackson was commissioned into The Parachute Regiment in 1992 as a graduate and served for 30 years.

During that time he completed multiple operational tours worldwide, being awarded a Queen’s Commendation for Valuable Service (QCVS) for service in Afghanistan, plus extensive overseas exchange service in both USA and Pakistan. He also commanded the unit which trains and selects all paratroopers.  His last appointment was as Deputy Commander of 16 Air Assault Brigade Combat Team.

On leaving the Army, Andrew worked in the financial sector before returning to the regimental fold with PRAFC. His wider interests include running, field sports and skiing.
