He’s at it again!  Following the success of his 85 mile walk for his 85th birthday, Jeffrey Long MBE, 12th Bn PARA veteran and PRA member celebrated his 86th birthday with an 86 mile walk to Support our Paras.

Jeffrey set off at the end of October from the Thames Barrier and made his way along the Thames Path, clocking up 86 miles along the way.

He completed the walk in just 8 days and was joined by a variety of supporters along the way, including Diana Moran.

This year’s event is his third consecutive birthday walk, after Jeffrey did 84 miles along Hadrian’s Wall for his 84th birthday and 85 miles along the Leeds-Liverpool Canal for his 85th birthday.

There’s still time to support Jeffrey, please visit his fundraising page.
