2 PARA Cultural Day

Support Our Paras is proud to have recently provided funding towards a battalion Cultural Day that was recently held at Merville Barracks. 2nd Battalion, The Parachute Regiment, organised and hosted this event to celebrate the many cultures that currently make up the battalion.
This event saw food and drink being served to all those in attendance from a number of different countries around the world, each one representing at least one member of the battalion. The charity provided a grant towards the event and were delighted to see so many paratroopers in attendance on the day.
The afternoon culminated with the 2 PARA football team playing the Rangers, wearing another team kit that Support Our Paras helped to fund.
